This is the first educational partnership agreement between the Air Force and a law school.

Introductory intellectual property training
This on-boarding was developed specifically for new researchers, scientists, engineers and contracting officers. This training is being provided across the research, defense and technology industries to mitigate future loss of intellectual property and data rights value. Taught by prominent legal experts and IP practitioners providing real-world application of IP and data rights practical legal techniques and procedures. This online training is self-paced, interactive, and chunked into short learning modules. This training provides frequent formative assessment and immediate feedback to every participant.
Master in the Study of Law – Patent Agency
AMERICAN AND TRANSNATIONAL LAW
30 Graduate Credit Hours
With a Master’s in the Study of Law Degree – Patent Agency, students can leverage their scientific or engineering background into the booming area of patent law.
This master’s degree program is aimed at working professional students who want to be at the cutting-edge of research and technology, helping inventors and companies capture intellectual property value and bring innovations to market. This pioneering program is designed to develop proficient patent agents with astute business acumen using practical real-world learning and experience in just 30 credits. All 10 credits from the Patent PLUS certificate program can be applied toward this degree. Students with the scientific or engineering background required by the USPTO will take the Patent Bar exam to become patent agents. Those who pass the patent bar exam may be able to apply for paid internships to get valuable work experience.
HOW MUCH DOES THE PROGRAM COST?
The tuition is $1,237 per credit hour plus $209 each semester for university charges. Candidates must complete all 30 credit hours of coursework to graduate.
