This partnership recognizes the need for this type of training in the Department of Defense and directly aligns with and supports the department’s direction toward innovation.

Educational partnership agreements with the Air Force historically have been reserved for STEM programs and students, and just recently expanded to include business, law, and technology transfer educational programs and students. This is the first educational partnership agreement between the Air Force and a law school.

We are humbled the Air Force Research Lab has put its faith in the School of Law to enhance its expertise in business, law and technology transfer, and increase the knowledge of intellectual property and patent law within its science and engineering workforce.
